Your registration
The Mývatn Marathon will be held Saturday May 30, 2025. The Marathon starts and ends by the Mývatn Nature Baths. Come join us for a full weekend of activities for the whole family.
SCHEDULE Here is the schedule on race day:
10:00 - 42 km run starts (we stop timing the race after 6 hours)
12:00 - 21 km run starts
13:00 - 10 km run starts
16:00 - Timing stops
The run is around Lake Mývatn on a flat asphalt road. Experience and enjoy the unique environment while running around the lake, within lava and volcanoes.
Altitude maximum 382m. Total descending elevation is 177m and total ascending elevation is 191m.
Online-registration will close Friday May 29th. It is possible to register on site at Mývatn Nature Baths on the 30th.

-A bus ride to the start line of 21 km and 10km from the Myvatn Nature Baths
