I. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. These terms and conditions apply between the participant and the event organizer. By registering for the event, the participant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions.
2. The event organizer accepts no responsibility for the health or well-being of participants during or in connection with the event. Furthermore, neither the event organizer, its employees, nor its partners shall be liable for any physical injury or financial loss incurred by participants as a result of their participation.
3. The event organizer reserves the right to review or amend these terms and conditions due to unforeseen circumstances, such as natural disasters or adverse weather conditions. Any changes to these terms will be communicated to participants by email.
4. Anyone registering participants other than themselves agrees to be responsible for informing those participants of these terms and conditions. If any of the registered participants do not accept these terms, a written objection must be submitted to the event organizer within 48 hours of registration.
5. Anyone registering themselves and others for the event grants the event organizer permission to use the registration information, provided that such use is a normal part of the organizer's operations. This includes, but is not limited to, publishing results, sending general mailings and emails, and displaying information on the event website.
6. Personal information provided by participants will be treated as confidential and will not be shared with third parties. The event organizer reserves the right to use any photographs taken by the event's official photographers of participants for marketing and promotional purposes.
7. The event organizer may send participants a limited number of emails containing important information, such as event details, schedule changes, and registration updates. Participants will always have the option to unsubscribe from these communications.

II. PAYMENT TERMS

1. The registration process includes a pricing calculator that displays prices in Icelandic króna (ISK).
2. The total participation fee displayed by the calculator is the final price.
3. Participation fees are non-refundable.
4. Participation fees cannot be transferred or carried over to the following year's event.
5. If the event is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances, such as natural disasters, severe weather, or similar events, participation fees paid for the race(s) will not be refunded.
6. Payments are processed securely through Valitor's payment gateway.
