4. Race Rules

  • Participants confirm that they are physically and mentally fit and adequately prepared to complete their chosen race distance within the official time limits.

  • Participants must comply with mandatory clothing and equipment requirements and carry appropriate gear. See the official equipment list.

  • Race bib numbers must be clearly visible on the front of the participant at all times. Participants must also wear the timing chip on their ankle.

  • For timing accuracy and safety purposes, all participants must pass over timing mats at the start, checkpoints, and finish line.

  • Participants who withdraw from the race due to illness or injury must report to the designated race official at the nearest checkpoint or station.

  • Receiving outside assistance from anyone not officially registered in the race is prohibited, except in emergency situations.

  • Each participant is responsible for refusing outside assistance unless it is an emergency.

  • Participants must not run with unregistered runners. Each participant must carry their own equipment, waste, and drink containers. Participants must show consideration for others.

  • Participants may assist fellow runners when safety is at stake. The organizer reserves the right to disqualify any participant who fails to comply with race rules.

5. Penalties

  • Participants who violate race rules may be disqualified.

  • Participants who fail to comply with instructions may be held financially responsible for any costs incurred for search, rescue, or medical assistance.

  • The organizers may remove or stop any participant who lacks appropriate clothing or mandatory equipment for prevailing conditions.

  • The organizers may disqualify or remove any participant who poses a risk to themselves or others or violates race rules.

  • The organizers are not responsible for illness or injury occurring during travel to and from the event or during the race.

  • Participants are encouraged to seek assistance from race staff in case of illness or injury. However, participation is always at the participant’s own risk, even when assistance is provided.
