I. RULES

1. Terms regarding registration, refunds, and related matters can be found on the race registration page. By registering for the race, participants accept the race terms and conditions and agree to comply with its rules. Participants must follow the instructions provided by race staff, including recommendations regarding clothing and equipment.
2. It is strictly prohibited to discard trash, clothing, or equipment along the course. Runners must bring their own cups or bottles for use at aid stations. Disposable paper cups will not be provided at aid stations. Participants must wear their race bib visibly on the front of their body at waist height to facilitate identification and timing. To receive an official time and for safety purposes, all participants must cross the timing mats at the start line, checkpoints, and finish line.
3. Anyone registering themselves or others for the event agrees to grant the organizers permission to use registration information, provided that such use is a normal part of the organizers’ operations. This includes publication of results, general mailings, email communication, and information published on the event website.
4. Receiving outside assistance from anyone who is not a registered participant in the race is prohibited, except in emergency situations. Each participant is responsible for refusing outside assistance unless it is an emergency. Participants are also responsible for not running alongside unregistered runners (pacers). Participants may assist other registered participants when safety considerations require it.
5. Penalties: Participants who do not comply with the race rules risk disqualification from the event.
6. The organizers reserve the right to alter the course, cancel the race, or change the start time at short notice due to weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances, with participant safety as the primary concern. Under such circumstances, participation fees will not be refunded.

II. PAYMENT TERMS

1. During the registration process, a calculator displays prices in Icelandic króna (ISK).
2. The total participation fee shown by the calculator is the final price.
3. Participation fees are non-refundable.
4. Participation fees cannot be transferred or deferred to the following year.
5. If the event cannot take place due to unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, severe weather, or similar events, participation fees will not be refunded.
6. Payments are processed through Netskraning.is, operated by Tímataka ehf., ID No. 560318-0730.
7. Questions regarding payments and refund requests should be directed to Tímataka ehf. via email at timataka@timataka.net. Processing such requests may take up to two weeks during the peak summer event season due to high workload.
