University Run 2025

The University Run 2025 takes place on Wednesday, 14 April, at 2 p.m. It is open to staff and students, and participants can run either 3K or 7K. 

• The route for 3K is by Suðurgata to Reykjavík airport and passes Vatnsmýri Nature Reserve.
• 
• The route for the 7K is new this year. It lies around the airport by Suðurgata, to Ægissíða and back again by the shore to Reykjavík airport and by the wildlife reserve in Vatnsmýri. 
• 

The run starts in front of the University Main Building. A map of the running routes will be added shortly.

Participants will receive a T-shirt marked University Run and be timed. The registration fee is 3,500, but this year,

Registration will open shortly, ending on 14 April at 1 p.m.
