The Dyrfjöll Trail Run is a trail running event organized by Ungmennafélag Borgarfjarðar (UMFB) in Borgarfjörður eystri.
By registering, participants agree to abide by the official rules of the Dyrfjöll Trail Run and confirm that they are in sufficiently good physical and mental condition to take part. Participants also confirm that they have read and understood the rules and terms, agree to comply with them, and follow the instructions of race officials.
Participation is at the competitor’s own risk. By purchasing a race entry, participants waive any right to claim compensation from the Dyrfjöll Trail Run, UMFB, or its partners for any injury, illness, or accident that may occur during participation in the race or related events.
If, in the unlikely event, the race must be cancelled beforehand, the organizer reserves the right to retain up to 50% of the entry fee to cover organizational costs.
If the event is rescheduled to the same or the following day, entry fees will not be refunded.
If the race is cancelled on race day due to weather or other circumstances beyond the organizer’s control, the entry fee will not be refunded.
If the race is relocated, shortened, or postponed to another time or place, the entry fee will not be refunded.
Travel and accommodation costs will not be reimbursed due to participant illness or event cancellation.
Refund requests can be made up to 30 days before race day. After that date, refunds will not be granted.
However, name changes on race entries are allowed free of charge up until race day.
